The Chamber of Sekh Zakir Hussain is hiring a Junior Advocate with 2 years of post-qualification experience to join their office in Cuttack. This is a full-time, on-site role involving legal research, drafting pleadings and documents, assisting in client consultations, appearing before courts, handling filings, maintaining case records, and staying updated on legal developments.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research.
- Prepare legal drafts and documentation.
- Attend client meetings and provide legal advice.
- Represent clients in court proceedings.
- File and maintain legal documents.
- Stay updated with changes in laws and legal procedures.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from a recognised institution and enrolment with the State Bar Council.
- Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience.
- Strong knowledge of legal research and document drafting.
- Experience in client communication, case preparation, and providing legal advice.
- Proficiency in litigation procedures and court appearances.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work diligently under supervision and manage multiple tasks within deadlines.
- Prior experience or internships in a legal environment is an advantage.
