Details of the Job/Internship
D.D. Associates is hiring a Junior Advocate to join their Kolkata office in a full-time, on-site role. The position involves assisting senior advocates with legal research, document preparation, client representation, drafting contracts and legal opinions, managing case files, and liaising with clients and legal counterparts.
Role and Responsibilities
- Assisting in the preparation of legal documents and contracts.
- Conducting legal research and analysis.
- Supporting senior advocates in client representation.
- Handling case files and liaising with clients and legal counterparts.
- Collaborating with team members to manage cases effectively.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.) and enrollment with the Bar Council.
- Strong legal research, drafting, and document preparation skills.
- Knowledge of Indian legal procedures and court practices.
- Analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in client handling and maintaining professional relationships.
- Ability to collaborate and work as part of a legal team.
- Candidates should reside in Kolkata or surrounding areas.
