Details of the Job/Internship

D.D. Associates is hiring a Junior Advocate to join their office in Kolkata. This is a full-time, on-site role involving legal research, drafting, case preparation, client liaison, and assistance in court proceedings alongside senior advocates.

Role and Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents.
• Prepare case files and assist senior advocates in client consultations and court proceedings.
• Liaise with clients and attend hearings.
• Stay updated on legal developments to provide informed and effective legal support.

Eligibility

• Skills in legal research, case analysis, and legal drafting.
• Proficiency in document review, legal writing, and memorandum preparation.
• Ability to assist in court proceedings and ongoing legal cases.
• Strong client communication and consultation skills.
• Knowledge of legal procedures and local laws in West Bengal; familiarity with Indian legal practices is preferred.
• Detail-oriented with strong organisational and time management skills.
• LL.B. degree from a recognised university.
• Prior internship or work experience in a legal setting is an added advantage.
• Applicant should be residing in Kolkata or surrounding areas.
