Details of the Job/Internship
Govilkar & Associates is hiring a Jr. Advocate (Entry Level) with experience of 0–2 years to join their office in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research on case laws, statutes, and regulations and stay updated on legal developments.
- Draft pleadings, written statements, legal notices, opinions, case briefs, summaries, and reports.
- Assist in representing clients before courts and tribunals and accompany senior counsel to hearings.
- Support client meetings, understand requirements, and maintain client records and documentation.
- Ensure timely filing and follow-up of cases.
- Manage legal documentation, filings, and compliance requirements.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B) from a recognised university.
- Enrolment with the relevant State Bar Council.
- Basic knowledge of litigation procedures and court practices.
- Strong research, drafting, and analytical skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to manage time effectively and work collaboratively within a team.
