Hande Associates is hiring a Junior Advocate with 0–2 years of legal practice to join their team in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft legal documents such as pleadings, notices, and applications.
- Conduct legal research using platforms like SCC Online, Manupatra, and Indian Kanoon.
- Present and argue matters before courts.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with integrity.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and clients.
- Travel to courts or client sites as required.
- Adhere to punctuality, discipline, and professionalism.
Eligibility
- LL.B. from a recognized university.
- Valid Bar Council enrollment (Sanad/license to practice).
- 0–2 years of legal practice (relevant internships accepted).
- Prior internships or clerkships under senior advocates or law firms preferred.
- Strong knowledge of IPC, CrPC, CPC, Evidence Act, and court procedures.
- Proficiency in legal drafting and research.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English (and regional language if required).
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel).
- Basic knowledge of online court platforms.
- Punctual, disciplined, and eager to learn.
- Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and organizational skills.
- Willingness to travel and fluency in local languages (optional, but preferred).
