Details of the Job/Internship

Law2All is hiring a Junior Advocate for a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Chennai Area at the High Court of Judicature at Madras.

Role and Responsibilities

• Assist advocates in handling legal cases and court proceedings.
• Conduct legal research on relevant legal issues.
• Draft court documents including pleadings, affidavits, and case summaries.
• Appear in court proceedings as required.
• Manage case files and track deadlines.
• Prepare legal opinions and case-related documentation.
• Liaise with clients to collect information necessary for case preparation.

Eligibility

• Strong understanding of legal principles, procedural laws, and constitutional law.
• Proficiency in legal research and legal drafting.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail and strong organisational abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively with advocates and team members.
• Enrollment with the Bar Council of Tamil Nadu is preferred.
• Prior internship or practical experience in litigation is preferred.
• Commitment to high ethical standards and professional integrity.

Salary/Stipend
