Details of the Job/Internship
Lex and Marx is hiring a Junior Advocate to join their office in Chennai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Assist in legal research, drafting legal documents, and preparing for court proceedings.
- Meet with clients to discuss their cases and provide legal advice under supervision.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laws and regulations relevant to the practice area.
- Support senior lawyers in all aspects of case management.
Eligibility
- Legal Research and Drafting skills.
- Strong understanding of laws and regulations.
- Ability to prepare for and support court proceedings.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Client meeting and advisory skills.
- Ability to work under supervision and in a team environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB or equivalent).
- Relevant work experience or internships in the legal field.
