Details of the Job/Internship
MG Legal is hiring a Junior Advocate for a full-time, on-site role in Goregaon, Mumbai. The role involves drafting legal documents, conducting legal research, handling succession matters, providing legal advice, coordinating with senior advocates, client consultations, appearing in court hearings, and assisting in estate planning and non-litigation matters.
Role and Responsibilities
- Drafting legal documents and preparing case briefs.
- Conducting legal research on civil and succession matters.
- Assisting in estate planning and non-litigation tasks.
- Handling client consultations and providing legal advice.
- Appearing in court hearings under supervision of senior advocates.
- Coordinating with senior advocates and maintaining legal documentation.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from a recognised institution.
- Membership in the Bar Council of India.
- Knowledge of property law, estate planning, trusts, wills, and probate.
- Understanding of the Testamentary process in Bombay High Court.
- Strong drafting and legal research skills.
- Experience in client consultations and providing legal advice.
- Ability to appear in court hearings and coordinate with senior advocates.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
