Details of the Job/Internship
Narayani Associates is hiring an Associate with 0–2 years of experience to join their Mumbai office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct case law and statutory research.
- Draft pleadings, applications, affidavits, notices, and legal opinions.
- Appear before courts and tribunals for routine matters.
- Assist in matters before various courts and tribunals.
- Handle filings, defect curing, and coordination with court staff.
- Maintain case files, track dates, and update case status.
- Prepare case summaries and briefs for senior advocates.
- Attend client meetings, collect documents, and maintain confidentiality.
- Review contracts and ensure procedural compliance.
- Coordinate with advocates, clients, and external agencies.
- Assist in due diligence and stay updated on legal developments.
Eligibility
- 0–2 years of experience or fresher with internship experience.
- Strong drafting and research skills.
- Knowledge of procedural laws such as CPC, CrPC, and Evidence Act.
- Good time management and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and professional ethics.
