Details of the Job/Internship

Rathina Maravarman, Advocates & Legal Consultants is hiring for the position of Junior Advocate with 3 years of experience to join their office in Mumbai. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Represent clients before High Court, NCLT, SAT, DRT, and Arbitration Tribunals with confidence and professionalism.
• Draft legal documents including notices, applications, affidavits, petitions, and other court pleadings.
• Conduct detailed legal research and analysis to ensure compliance with applicable laws and evolving legal trends.
• Assist senior advocates in preparing for trials, hearings, and related legal proceedings.
• Review and revise documents for accuracy, clarity, and compliance with court requirements.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate completion of legal assignments.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and uphold high standards of professional ethics.
• Stay current with legal developments to integrate updates into day-to-day legal practice.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized university.
• Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in litigation, with direct exposure to relevant courts/tribunals.
• Strong drafting and oral advocacy skills; ability to independently argue cases.
• Excellent legal research and analytical capabilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and familiarity with digital legal research tools.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple matters simultaneously.
• Commitment to ethical practice, client confidentiality, and professional diligence.
• Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment.

Salary/Stipend
