SKMR Law Associates is hiring a Junior Advocate with experience in civil side practice to join their office in Chennai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Assist in managing civil litigation and specialized property-related legal matters.
- Draft and review comprehensive legal opinions on property title documents.
- Perform meticulous document verification and title scrutiny for banking clients.
- Handle registration-related legal works and documentation.
- Interact directly with clients and nationalized banks for legal clarifications.
- Support senior advocates in case preparation, briefings, and court hearings.
- Maintain organized case files and stay updated on local property regulations.
Eligibility
- Experience: Active practice in the civil side, including drafting and court work.
- Strong knowledge of legal opinions on property titles and document verification.
- Ability to handle title scrutiny and reporting for financial institutions.
- Proactive mindset and a strong commitment to professional work ethics.
- Willingness to gain hands-on exposure in DRT and District Court proceedings.
- Excellent communication skills for client and bank interactions.
