Details of the Job/Internship
Yatin R. Shah & Co. is looking to onboard two Junior Advocates with at least 2 years of litigation experience.
Role and Responsibilities
- Court Appearances: Argue matters independently in subordinate courts and act as a representative in the High Court of Bombay.
- Specialized Litigation: Handle a diverse caseload including Civil, Testamentary (wills/probate), RERA (real estate), and Debt Recovery (DRT/DRAT).
- Corporate Disputes: Assist senior lawyers in matters before the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT).
- Case Preparation: Manage the drafting of pleadings, notices, and briefing papers; conduct exhaustive legal research to support the firm's strategy.
- Procedural Oversight: Ensure strict adherence to court timelines, directions, and follow-ups.
Eligibility
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.) from a recognized university.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of active post-qualification experience in litigation.
- Competency: Demonstrated ability to argue matters independently and a solid command of drafting.
- Professionalism: High standards of punctuality and discipline are mandatory.
- Forum Experience: Familiarity with the Bombay High Court’s Original and Appellate Side rules is a significant plus.
