Details of the Job/Internship

Evalueserve is hiring an IP Paralegal and Docketing professional to join its Intellectual Property and Research & Development team.

Role and Responsibilities

• Support attorneys in global patent filings and prosecution activities.
• Maintain and update daily IP dockets for clients worldwide.
• Follow up on patent and trademark application filings and prosecution matters.
• Prepare patent office documents including information disclosure statements, assignments, declarations, powers of attorney, and title amendments.
• Identify and verify patent family members using patent office registers and commercial databases.
• Check bibliographic, assignment, and priority details from official registers and file histories.
• Evaluate patent portfolios of target companies.
• Proofread patent documents and identify errors introduced by patent offices or applicants.
• Conduct trademark pre-filing searches across global jurisdictions.
• Perform periodic trademark watch and monitoring for potential infringements.
• Ensure efficient and timely project delivery with high quality standards.

Eligibility

• Experience or knowledge in IP paralegal and docketing functions.
• Strong understanding of intellectual property administration processes.
• Ability to complete tasks accurately and within deadlines.
• Strong active listening and attention to detail.
• Proactive mindset aligned with organisational goals.
• Proficiency in MS Office, with strong expertise in MS Excel.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary/Stipend
