Details of the Job/Internship

POP MART is hiring a Junior Associate Legal Counsel (IP & Commercial) with experience of 1–3 years to join their office in Bangkok. The role involves supporting intellectual property enforcement, handling copyright and trademark matters, coordinating with external law firms and authorities, and assisting in drafting and reviewing commercial contracts. The position also includes providing support on compliance, maintaining legal documentation, and assisting in internal legal processes.

Role and Responsibilities

• Assist in handling copyright and trademark infringement cases, including enforcement actions.
• Support preparation and issuance of cease-and-desist letters.
• Coordinate with external law firms on enforcement actions such as raids, seizures, and settlements.
• Liaise with government authorities and assist in registration and recordation processes.
• Conduct legal research and assist in analysing enforcement strategies and risks.
• Maintain tracking of IP enforcement cases, including costs and outcomes.
• Assist in drafting and reviewing commercial contracts such as distribution and service agreements.
• Support business teams in identifying legal risks and providing recommendations.
• Ensure proper documentation, filing, and internal reporting of legal matters.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.).
• 1–3 years of experience in IP or commercial legal work.
• Basic knowledge of trademark and copyright enforcement.
• Exposure to working with external law firms or government authorities is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail, willingness to learn, and ability to work collaboratively.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Salary/Stipend
