Details of the Job/Internship
R&B Legal is hiring a Junior Associate with 0–3 years of experience for its litigation practice.
Role and Responsibilities
- Regularly appear and mention matters before the Bombay High Court, City Civil Courts, and NCLT.
- Independently draft Plaints, Written Statements, Writ Petitions, and Interlocutory Applications.
- Prepare comprehensive legal notices and briefing notes for Senior Counsel.
- Conduct in-depth research on evolving precedents and regulatory changes.
- Liaise with court registries and administrative staff for filing and follow-ups.
- Assist senior partners in developing case strategies and briefing Senior Counsel.
- Maintain updated knowledge of High Court Side Rules and local Mumbai court procedures.
Eligibility
- Degree: LL.B. or B.L.S. LL.B. from a recognized university.
- Mandatory: Must be enrolled with the Bar Council of Maharashtra & Goa.
- Experience: 0–3 years in litigation.
- Skills: Strong command of English and excellent communication skills for court appearances.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with Mumbai local court procedures and High Court Side Rules.
- Competencies: Strong analytical skills for case review and the ability to work in a high-energy environment.
