Details of the Job/Internship
Ab Initio Legal LLP is hiring a Junior Associate (Litigation) with 1 to 3 years of experience to join their Connaught Place, New Delhi office.
Joining Date: 01.10.2025.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft and file documents across District Courts, High Courts, Supreme Court, NCLT, NCLAT, and other tribunals/commissions.
- Assist seniors/partners in case handling, including appearances, client coordination, drafting pleadings, briefs, argument notes, and submissions.
- Conduct legal research and prepare case law summaries.
- Maintain accurate records of proceedings and filings with timely CMS and calendar updates.
- Draft petitions, affidavits, applications, replies, written statements, counter affidavits, writs, SLPs, complaints, agreements, contracts, and other legal documents.
- Stay updated on legal precedents, amendments, and trends.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues in a team structure.
Eligibility
- 1 to 3 years of experience in core litigation.
- Enthusiastic and eager to gain exposure in diverse areas of litigation.
- Responsible, sincere, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Willingness to work extra hours when required.
