Details of the Job/Internship
Yeshwant Legal Associates is hiring a Junior Associate with 0–3 years of experience to join their litigation practice in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
Court Work:
- Appear before Trial Courts and assist in High Court matters.
- Handle adjournments, filings, and procedural compliance.
- Draft short applications and coordinate with clerks.
Drafting and Research:
- Draft plaints, written statements, affidavits, and applications.
- Conduct case law research.
- Prepare case notes, briefing summaries, and assist in argument preparation.
Client Coordination:
- Attend client conferences.
- Prepare factual briefs.
- Maintain case files and documentation.
Office and Litigation Management:
- Maintain court diaries and track deadlines.
- Coordinate with registry and court staff.
- Ensure filing compliance.
Eligibility
- LL.B. degree, preferably enrolled with the Bar Council.
- 0–3 years of litigation experience.
- Strong drafting skills in English.
- Ability to think clearly under pressure.
- Discipline in file management and adherence to deadlines.
- Serious interest in courtroom litigation.
- Freshers with strong drafting and research skills may also apply.
