Details of the Job/Internship

Chambers of Bhomesh Bellam and Karma Vivan is hiring a Junior with 1–2 years of litigation experience to join their office in Mumbai.

Role and Responsibilities

• Appear in courts across Mumbai, including the Bombay High Court, sessions courts, and magistrate courts.
• Draft legal documents such as petitions, applications, written submissions, replies, and notices.
• Conduct legal research on relevant case laws, statutes, and legal precedents.
• Assist in case preparations, including maintaining case files and preparing case briefs.
• Liaise with clients to gather necessary documents, provide updates, and clarify legal matters.
• Manage administrative tasks, such as filing, scheduling hearings, and managing court dates.

Eligibility

• LLB graduate from a recognized university.
• 1-2 years of litigation experience, preferably in criminal law.
• Fluency in reading and speaking Marathi is highly preferred.

Salary/Stipend

Salary details will be finalised during the interview process with the selected candidate.
