Ark Legal is seeking a Junior Associate to join their team in Mumbai. This full-time hybrid role offers flexibility for remote work. As an Associate, you will conduct legal research and analysis focusing on technology law, privacy regulations, and data protection statutes. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic legal team in a rapidly evolving field.

Role and Responsibilities

• Drafting legal documents, contracts and policies related to technology, privacy and data protection.
• Collaborating with clients to understand their needs and providing legal guidance on compliance matters.
• Staying updated on emerging laws, regulations, and industry trends related to technology, privacy and data protection.
• Participating in meetings, negotiations and client consultations.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Law.
• Strong research and analytical skills.
• Excellent drafting, communication and interpersonal skills.
• 3-5 years of experience in a law firm or in-house legal department in the field of technology or data privacy.
