Details of the Job/Internship
Arunkungumaraj & Associates is hiring for the position of Junior Associate to join their office in Chennai.
- Probation: 3 months as Probationary Junior Associate.
- Stipend during probation: ₹10,000 – ₹15,000 per month (based on experience & skill set).
- Salary after confirmation: ₹15,000 – ₹20,000 per month (based on performance review).
- Working hours: Monday to Saturday, 9:00 AM – 8:30 PM (6-day work week).
Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth legal research and prepare briefs.
- Draft and vet legal documents, pleadings, and contracts.
- Appear in court hearings and assist in case preparation.
- Support senior associates and partners across litigation and ADR matters.
- Interact with clients to understand their legal requirements and provide timely updates.
Eligibility
- LLB degree from a recognized institution.
- Strong skills in legal research, drafting, and vetting.
- Knowledge of Civil Litigation, Commercial Litigation, and ADR.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- High attention to detail with strong organizational abilities.
- Prior exposure to Property Due Diligence, Civil/Commercial Litigation, ADR, or Matrimonial Laws will be an added advantage.
