Details of the Job/Internship
Senior Advocate Avi Singh is seeking one or more Juniors to assist his practice in New Delhi.
Role and Responsibilities
- Assist the Senior Advocate in complex criminal matters and white-collar defense strategy.
- Conduct exhaustive research on questions of International Law and transnational litigation.
- Draft high-quality pleadings, applications, and legal memos for the Supreme Court and High Courts.
- Assist in the preparation of evidence and submissions for domestic and international Arbitral Tribunals.
- Coordinate with the London and Hague-based teams at Temple Garden Chambers for cross-border matters.
- Synthesize vast amounts of case law and evidentiary material into concise strategy notes.
- Attend court proceedings and provide real-time assistance during oral advocacy and arguments.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from a premier institution.
- Strong demonstrable interest in International Law and Transnational Litigation.
- Exceptional legal research and drafting skills, with an eye for detail and academic rigor.
- Ability to handle a high-pressure workload involving multiple high-stakes matters.
- Prior experience in litigation or internship experience with a Senior Counsel is preferred.
- Strong professional ethics and the ability to maintain confidentiality in sensitive criminal matters.
