Details of the Job/Internship

Bay Counsel LLP is hiring a Junior Associate with experience of 1 to 2 years to join their Media, Entertainment, and Technology practice. The role is flexible in terms of location and may be based out of the Bombay office at Worli or remotely.

Role and Responsibilities

• Preparing first drafts and turning around revisions quickly.
• Handling a high volume of commercial agreements across media, entertainment, and technology matters.
• Structuring, negotiating, and formalising commercial arrangements.
• Refining templates to reflect client-specific requirements and commercial realities.
• Working closely with the team on contracting matters to serve client objectives.

Eligibility

• Prior experience in commercial contracting.
• Meaningful exposure to media, entertainment, or technology related work.
• Strong interest in drafting and refining contracts with attention to language, structure, leverage, risk allocation, and commercial outcomes.
• Ability to work at pace without compromising clarity or quality.
• Self-driven, responsive, and responsible approach to work.

Salary/Stipend
