Details of the Job/Internship
Bhatia Law Associates is hiring a Junior Associate with a minimum of 3 years of experience in non-litigation in real estate and M&A and/or litigation in civil and commercial disputes to join their office in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Handle non-litigation matters in real estate and M&A.
- Draft and review agreements, contracts, sale deeds, MOUs, and other legal documents.
- Conduct title verification and legal due diligence for real estate transactions.
- Advise clients on property law, regulatory compliance, and structuring of transactions.
- Assist in M&A matters, including drafting and reviewing transaction documents.
- Coordinate with clients, developers, and authorities for execution.
- Represent clients before courts and tribunals in real estate, corporate, and commercial disputes.
- Draft pleadings, written statements, petitions, affidavits, and applications.
- Conduct legal research, prepare case strategies, and provide timely case updates.
- Manage client communication and case files.
Eligibility
- LL.B. from a recognised institution.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in non-litigation in real estate and M&A and/or litigation in civil and commercial disputes.
- Strong drafting, communication, and analytical skills.
- Ability to independently handle matters with attention to detail.
