Details of the Job/Internship

Chambers of Adv. Shivraj Gaonkar is hiring a Junior Associate with experience of 0–3 years to join their office in Panjim, Goa.

Role and Responsibilities

• Assisting in court appearances before the High Court, District Courts, and Tribunals.
• Drafting pleadings, written submissions, legal notices, and legal opinions under supervision.
• Conducting legal research on procedural and substantive legal issues.
• Coordinating court filings, diary dates, and maintaining case records.

Eligibility

• LLB from a recognised university.
• Applicants who have appeared for their final semester examinations may also apply.
• 0–3 years of post-qualification experience; fresh graduates may apply.
• Strong legal drafting and research skills.
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of Konkani and/or Marathi is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel within Goa for court appearances.
• Professional discipline, sincerity, and commitment to legal practice.
• Proficiency in computers and ability to work in a paperless environment.
• Candidates based in Goa will be preferred.
