Details of the Job/Internship
Chambers of Sairica Raju is hiring a Junior Associate with experience of 2+ years to join their office in Delhi & NCR.
Role and Responsibilities
- Represent clients and appear before the Supreme Court, High Court, and Trial Courts (Physically and Virtually).
- Draft and vet substantive legal documents, including petitions, bail applications, and appeals.
- Conduct extensive legal research and analysis to support complex criminal case strategies.
- Handle court filings and maintain meticulous records of daily work and case status.
- Assist senior counsel in briefings and the development of comprehensive court strategies.
- Manage client communications and prepare detailed conference notes for internal reviews.
- Ensure all procedural documentation and record-keeping meet the high standards of the chambers.
Eligibility
- Minimum 2+ years of experience specifically in criminal litigation.
- Demonstrated exposure to working across the Supreme Court, High Court, and Trial Courts.
- Proficiency in legal research, drafting, and critical legal analysis.
- Ability to handle responsibility independently and maintain professional ethics.
- Flexibility to work long hours and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive attitude with a strong willingness to learn complex trial and appellate procedures.
