Details of the Job/Internship
DHCO India LLP is hiring a Junior Associate with experience of 2–3 years to join their office in Nagpur. The role involves handling tax and commercial litigation matters and representing clients before tax authorities, appellate forums, the High Court, and lower courts.
Role and Responsibilities
- Represent clients before tax authorities and appellate forums.
- Represent clients before the High Court and lower courts in commercial and tax law matters.
- Handle scrutiny assessments and appeals related to direct and indirect taxes.
- Conduct legal research and prepare opinions on various laws.
- Liaise with the tax department and other relevant authorities on behalf of clients.
- Handle arbitration proceedings before the MSME Facilitation Council.
- Maintain and update records of litigation matters.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law.
- Chartered Accountant or CA Inter/Final.
- At least 2–3 years of experience in tax and commercial litigation and related matters.
- Experience in taxation work is necessary.
- Sound knowledge of laws, rules, and regulations.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Candidates should be willing to work with the firm for the long term and take on challenging responsibilities.
