Details of the Job/Internship
DJS LEGAL is hiring a Junior Associate to join their Ahmedabad office on a full-time, on-site basis.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough legal research using online databases and physical archives to support case strategy.
- Draft and review various legal documents, including petitions, affidavits, contracts, and notices.
- Prepare concise case summaries and briefing notes for senior associates and partners.
- Assist in day-to-day case management, including maintaining case files and tracking court dates.
- Collaborate with external stakeholders and communicate effectively with clients regarding matter updates.
- Ensure all statutory and regulatory filings are completed within prescribed timelines.
Eligibility
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B. or equivalent).
- Skills: Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
- Tools: Proficiency in MS Office Suite and relevant legal research software (e.g., SCC Online, Manupatra).
- Experience: Prior experience or internships in a law firm environment is highly preferred.
- Competency: Ability to multitask and meet strict deadlines in a high-pressure environment.
