DLG Law Corporation (“DLG”) is an international law firm headquartered in Seoul, South Korea (“Korea”), with offices in major cities around the world, including Canada, Germany, China, Vietnam, Myanmar, and Cambodia. They are currently preparing to expand their services in Bangkok, Thailand.
Details of the Job/Internship
DLG Law Corporation is hiring a Junior Associate with experience of 1 to 2 years to join their office in the Bangkok Metropolitan Area.
Role and Responsibilities
- Advising on and assisting with the formation and registration of companies in Thailand for foreign clients, including preparing and obtaining Foreign Business License (FBL) and Board of Investment (BOI) approvals.
- Conducting in-depth legal research and analysis on Thai laws and regulations relevant to corporate and foreign investment matters.
- Representing clients in liaising with Thai authorities and government agencies to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulatory requirements.
- Monitoring, analyzing, and providing updates on changes in Thai laws, regulations, and policies affecting foreign businesses.
- Drafting and reviewing legal documents, including contracts, applications, and corporate governance materials, under the supervision of senior attorneys.
- Collaborating with and providing legal support to senior attorneys on client matters and other legal projects.
Eligibility
- Proficiency in English (capable of communication and translation) and Thai (native fluency).
- A working knowledge of general corporate laws and regulatory frameworks.
- Prior experience with company formation and registration processes, Foreign Business License (“FBL”) applications, and Board of Investment (“BOI”) applications is strongly preferred.
- A valid Thai attorney license and 1–2 years of experience practicing in the legal profession.
Salary/Stipend
