Details of the Job/Internship
Fiscal Law Partners is hiring a Junior Associate with experience of 0–2 years to join their office in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth legal research and prepare detailed case analysis for indirect tax matters.
- Draft legal documents, including responses to departmental queries and communications.
- Prepare case briefs and analyze relevant case laws to support ongoing litigation.
- Assist in adjudication processes and represent clients before departmental authorities.
- Support senior partners in appearances before the Tribunal and the High Court.
- Manage multiple priorities and organize case files to ensure timely submissions.
- Participate in client interactions to understand and resolve indirect tax-related issues.
Eligibility
- Qualified lawyer with 0–2 years of post-qualification experience (PQE).
- Strong knowledge and practical skills in Indirect Taxation laws.
- Proficiency in drafting legal documents and conducting high-level case law analysis.
- Effective communication skills for court appearances and client coordination.
- Proactive approach with strong organizational abilities.
- Prior experience in taxation or economic offenses is preferred but not mandatory.
