Details of the Job/Internship

GKM Associates is hiring a Junior Associate to join their office in Bengaluru. This is a full-time, on-site role involving legal research and drafting, assisting with case preparation, and supporting senior attorneys with client management and documentation.

Role and Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and drafting.
• Assist with case preparation.
• Support senior attorneys in client management and legal documentation.
• Participate in case review meetings.
• Analyse legal issues and assist in preparing arguments for litigation and arbitration.
• Collaborate with the team to deliver practical and timely solutions.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized institution with valid enrollment with the Karnataka State Bar Council.
• Strong research, analytical, and legal drafting skills.
• Proficiency in litigation processes, alternate dispute resolution, and contract negotiations.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and provide tailored legal advice.
• Attention to detail with proficiency in reviewing legal documentation and conducting due diligence.
• Proficiency in relevant legal software and technology tools.
• Strong professional ethics, responsibility, and teamwork.
• Prior work experience in a legal firm or related field is advantageous.
• Ability to read and speak Kannada is mandatory.
