Details of the Job/Internship
Samoon & Associates is hiring a Junior Associate – Litigation & Disputes (Licensed Advocate) for a full-time on-site role in Srinagar with occasional remote work.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research and prepare case strategies.
- Draft legal and administrative documents.
- Brief and assist arguing counsel.
- Appear in court for litigation and dispute matters.
- Interact with clients and manage cases.
- Utilize legal technology and tools effectively.
- Work independently and collaboratively across jurisdictions.
- Maintain professionalism, integrity, and due diligence in all tasks.
Eligibility
- Valid LL.B degree from a recognized university.
- Bar Council registration and license to practice law.
- AIBE qualification preferred.
- Proficiency in legal research, case strategy, and drafting.
- Knowledge of criminal defense, civil litigation, service law, and intellectual property law.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English, Urdu, Hindi, Kashmiri, and Shina.
- Ability to work on-site and across multiple jurisdictions.
