Details of the Job/Internship

Sarangi Law Chambers is hiring a Junior Associate with experience of 1–2 years to join their office in Bengaluru.

Role and Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth legal research and analyze precedents to support shareholder and insolvency disputes.
• Draft comprehensive legal documents, including pleadings, commercial contracts, and bespoke agreements.
• Represent clients in court proceedings and argue matters before tribunals and civil courts.
• Advise startups on end-to-end contractual documentation and lead negotiations for commercial deals.
• Assist in estate planning matters, including the drafting of wills, trusts, and settlement deeds.
• Manage multiple cases simultaneously while ensuring high attention to detail and organizational efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with the founding counsel on case strategy and business development initiatives.

Eligibility

• Mandatory 1–2 years of prior litigation experience in a Bengaluru-based law firm or chamber.
• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.).
• Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to present effective arguments.
• Ability to speak (and preferably read) Kannada to facilitate local court and client interactions.
• Proficiency in legal research and case law analysis.
• Ownership of a two-wheeler is preferred but not mandatory.
• High level of sincerity, responsibility, and a commitment to clear communication.
