Details of the Job/Internship
W K Legal is hiring a Junior Associate to join their office in Pune Division. The role involves handling client cases, drafting and reviewing legal documents, assisting in dispute resolution processes including statutory forums, mediation and arbitration, conducting legal research, and representing clients in court proceedings.
Role and Responsibilities
- Handle client cases.
- Draft and review legal documents.
- Assist in dispute resolution processes including statutory forums, mediation, and arbitration.
- Conduct legal research.
- Represent clients in court proceedings.
- Collaborate with teams and liaise with clients to ensure professional legal support.
Eligibility
- Ability to conduct independent legal research, case analysis, and legal drafting.
- Ability in handling cases related to commercial agreements, credit and receivable recovery, and dispute resolution.
- Skills in mediation, arbitration, and courtroom advocacy.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively and adapt to diverse legal challenges.
- Possession of a law degree and enrollment with the Bar Council of India.
- Prior courtroom and work experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
