Details of the Job/Internship
YANA Attorneys & Legal is hiring a Junior Associate with a minimum of 2 years of experience to join their office in Chennai. This is a full-time on-site role involving contract negotiation, legal document preparation, and court representation. The role also includes addressing legal issues, conducting research, drafting and reviewing contracts, and filing cases at the registry.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft and review legal documents and contracts.
- Negotiate contracts and handle legal documentation.
- Conduct legal research and address various legal issues.
- Represent the firm before courts and handle filings at the registry.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure effective legal support.
Eligibility
- LL.B. or LL.M. degree with a valid license to practice law in India.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience.
- Proficiency in drafting.
- Experience in contract negotiation and legal document preparation.
- Strong analytical and research skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and build strong client relationships.
- Experience in corporate law and dispute resolution is a plus.
