Details of the Job/Internship
Lex Premier is hiring a Junior Associate/Intern to join their office in New Chandigarh. This is a full-time, on-site position. The role involves assisting with legal research, preparing legal documents, participating in client meetings, supporting litigation and arbitration matters, appearing before courts and tribunals, and assisting in corporate consultancy work.
Role and Responsibilities
- Research case laws and legal precedents.
- Prepare and draft legal documents.
- Participate in client meetings.
- Support litigation and arbitration proceedings.
- Appear before courts and tribunals.
- Assist in corporate consultancy matters.
Eligibility
- Valid Bar licence is required for the position of Junior Associate.
- Pursuing or holding a degree in Law for the position of Intern.
- Proficiency in researching case laws and legal precedents.
- Strong skills in preparing and drafting legal documents.
- Familiarity with arbitration laws, CPC, BNSS, and BSA.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Candidates from the Chandigarh Tricity with their own vehicle may be preferred.
