Details of the Job/Internship
Elevate is hiring a Jr Commercial Attorney with experience of 2+ years to work remotely with in-house legal departments and internal business customers, providing deal support and participating in projects to improve contractual infrastructure, workflow, and processes.
Role and Responsibilities
- Review NDA contracts and negotiate acceptable alternatives using templates and tools.
- Facilitate escalation and resolution of contract issues.
- Update or draft templates, negotiation playbooks, and other contract infrastructure tools.
- Capture information related to supported contracts and matters.
- Participate in or manage customer projects to improve contracting efficiency, cost effectiveness, and knowledge sharing.
- Create reports and presentations for customers and internal teams.
- Participate in task forces aimed at improving service delivery and team development.
Eligibility
- J.D. from an accredited law school.
- Licensed to practice in at least one state.
- 2+ years of legal practice experience in high-volume transactional support, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts, particularly NDAs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and/or SharePoint.
- Experience with contract management software or workflow tools is an advantage.
