Details of the Job/Internship

HeraldEx.com is hiring a Junior Compliance Executive – AML & Risk with 0–6 months of experience to join their office in Bangalore. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Assist in reviewing KYC documents and verifying user accounts.
• Support monitoring of transactions to identify unusual or suspicious activities.
• Maintain accurate AML and compliance records in accordance with internal policies.
• Assist in preparing compliance reports and regulatory documentation.
• Review alerts generated by internal monitoring systems and escalate suspicious transactions.
• Maintain records related to transaction monitoring and investigations.
• Support periodic risk assessments and data review activities.
• Assist in identifying patterns indicating fraudulent or suspicious activities.
• Support preliminary investigations of flagged transactions or user activities.
• Maintain organised records for compliance audits and internal reviews.
• Assist in preparing reports and summaries for internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with operations, product, and support teams to ensure compliance procedures are followed.
• Participate in compliance training sessions and learn regulatory requirements related to digital assets.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
• 0–6 months of experience. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Basic understanding of financial transactions or compliance processes is an advantage.
• Strong analytical thinking and logical reasoning skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in reviewing documents and data.
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel and data handling.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced fintech environment with high integrity and professional ethics.
