Herald Exchange is hiring a Junior Compliance Officer with experience of 0–6 months to join their office in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
- Review and verify user KYC (Know Your Customer) documents to ensure platform safety.
- Monitor transaction alerts and identify unusual patterns or suspicious activities.
- Escalate flagged accounts and potential fraud risks to senior compliance team members.
- Prepare basic compliance reports and maintain accurate, well-organized digital records.
- Support internal reviews and audit preparations by ensuring strict adherence to processes.
- Assist in conducting ongoing risk checks and data reviews for the digital asset platform.
- Document findings clearly for internal use and maintain audit-ready compliance logs.
- Collaborate with operations and product teams to stay updated on real-world fintech workflows.
Eligibility
- Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 6 months of experience.
- Background in Law, Commerce, Finance, Business, or a similar field.
- Sharp analytical thinking and high attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of finance or digital transactions is a bonus but not mandatory.
- Willingness to learn the regulatory frameworks governing crypto and digital assets.
- Effective communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
