Details of the Job/Internship
Giottus Crypto Platform is hiring a Junior Compliance Officer with experience of 2 to 3 years to join their office in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
- Assist in implementing and monitoring compliance policies, procedures, and controls to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Conduct due diligence and periodic reviews of customer accounts as part of the KYC and AML processes.
- Review and assess transactions flagged for potential suspicious activity and escalate as necessary.
- Stay updated on evolving crypto and financial regulations, ensuring the company remains compliant.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including customer support and legal, to address compliance-related queries and issues.
- Support regulatory audits and reporting requirements.
- Provide training and updates to teams on compliance matters as needed.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in law, Finance, Business Administration, or any allied field.
- 2-3 years of experience in compliance, risk management, or related fields in finance or technology sectors.
- Strong analytical skills with an eye for detail.
- Basic understanding of KYC/AML processes and regulatory requirements in India.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies and processes.
- Should be a pro with Excel.
- Desirable Skills (Not Mandatory):
- Knowledge of the crypto industry or blockchain technology.
- Familiarity with tools used in transaction monitoring and regulatory reporting.
