Details of the Job/Internship

Alpha Omega Consultancy Services is hiring a Junior Corporate Lawyer with a minimum of 3 years of experience to oversee the organisation’s legal affairs.

Role and Responsibilities

• Advise the company on corporate legal matters, including governance, regulatory compliance, M&A, and restructuring.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including NDAs, vendor/supplier contracts, shareholder agreements, and joint venture agreements.
• Ensure compliance with local, national, and international corporate laws.
• Support in corporate secretarial functions, including board meetings, resolutions, and statutory filings.
• Provide legal risk analysis and recommend appropriate risk mitigation strategies.
• Stay updated with changes in corporate law and advise management accordingly.
• Assist in handling disputes, arbitration, and litigation management as required.
• Liaise with external legal counsel and regulatory authorities as needed.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB); Master’s degree or specialisation in Corporate Law preferred.
• Qualified to practice law in India.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in corporate law, preferably in a corporate legal department or top-tier law firm.
• Strong understanding of corporate governance, contract law, and compliance frameworks.
• Excellent drafting, analytical, and negotiation skills.
• High ethical standards and strong business acumen.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with cross-border transactions and international corporate structures preferred.
• Familiarity with regulatory filings and corporate secretarial practices preferred.
• Prior experience in industries such as recruitment or staffing is a plus.

Salary/Stipend
