Details of the Job/Internship

Alpha Omega Consultancy Services is hiring for the position of Junior Corporate Lawyer with 3 years of experience to join their office remotely. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Provide expert legal advice on corporate governance, regulatory compliance, mergers & acquisitions, and corporate restructuring.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including NDAs, vendor contracts, shareholder and joint venture agreements.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with applicable local, national, and international corporate laws and regulations.
• Support company secretarial functions—organize Board meetings, draft resolutions, and manage statutory filings.
• Assess legal risks and recommend risk mitigation strategies.
• Stay current with legal and regulatory changes affecting the organization and provide timely counsel to management.
• Oversee dispute resolution, litigation, and arbitration processes when required.
• Coordinate with external legal counsel and regulatory bodies as necessary.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB); Master’s degree or specialization in Corporate Law is an advantage.
• Licensed to practice law in India.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in corporate law—preferably within a corporate legal department or a top-tier law firm.
• Strong knowledge of corporate governance, contract law, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent drafting, analytical, and negotiation skills.
• High ethical standards, sound judgment, and strong business acumen.
• Ability to manage responsibilities independently and work effectively within cross-functional teams.

Salary/Stipend
