Ansell is looking for a candidate for the position of Junior Counsel.
Role and Responsibilities
- Perform legal, factual and records research, identify relevant judicial decisions, statutes, legal articles, codes, and other pertinent material, organize and analyze information, cross-check and validate information, and prepare reports.
- Draft, edit, review, and negotiate various documents, agreements and forms, which include NDA’s, Manufacturing, Supply/Sourcing and Services Agreements, as well as various policies and procedures.
- Assist in advising on various legal topics including corporate and commercial law matters, contract law and agreements, labour and employment matters and policies, claims / product liability issues and data privacy.
- Build and maintain databases and files; implement and maintain contract/document management systems and processes, organize and track case files; review and monitor new and updated laws and regulations.
- Provide legal support and company secretarial services to the Ansell Group entities, such as managing minutes, officers, directors, etc.
- Assist in litigation management and reporting.
- Assist the Global Compliance Officer to develop and implement compliance programs, policies and training as needed, based on legal and regulatory requirements, industry standards and best practices.
