Details of the Job/Internship
Intellect Goodwill LLP is hiring a Junior Intellectual Property Associate to join its expanding team in the Indore office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain comprehensive Intellectual Property portfolios for global clients.
- Handle prosecution, opposition, and enforcement for trademarks, copyrights, patents, and designs.
- Draft and file applications and prosecution amendments before the relevant IP authorities.
- Prepare and file legal submissions, including oppositions and rectifications.
- Conduct thorough trademark searches and extensive legal research.
- Appear before Registrars and Examiners for hearings.
- Draft pleadings, evidence, and arguments for IP litigation matters.
- Review and negotiate IP-related agreements and legal documents.
- Organize and manage legal databases and correspondence efficiently.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Law (LL.B. / LL.M.).
- Strong knowledge of Trademark, Copyright, Patent, and Design laws.
- Preferred: Experience in end-to-end handling of Intellectual Property matters.
- Advantage: Prior experience with international IP filings.
- Strong legal research and drafting skills.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and IT systems.
