Modi and Zaidi, Advocates and Solicitors are seeking a motivated and talented Junior IP Lawyer to join their team.
Role and Responsibilities
IP Office Correspondence:
- Manage communication and correspondence with IP offices in various jurisdictions.
- Monitor and track deadlines for trademark and patent filings.
- Prepare and submit required documents to IP offices accurately and in a timely manner.
Client Liaison:
- Act as a primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and providing updates on IP matters.
- Assist in drafting and sending client reports, status updates, and reminders.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys to ensure clients' IP needs are met efficiently.
Trademark and Patent Filings:
- Assist in the preparation and filing of trademark applications.
- Conduct preliminary trademark searches and research to support application processes.
- Coordinate with clients to gather necessary information and documentation.
Documentation and Recordkeeping:
- Maintain accurate and organized records of IP matters, including client files and correspondence.
- Ensure all documentation complies with relevant regulations and procedures.
Research and Analysis:
- Conduct legal research related to IP laws and regulations.
- Assist in analyzing and summarizing findings for clients.
Support Legal Team:
- Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on various IP cases and projects.
- Participate in team meetings, discussions, and strategy sessions.
Eligibility
- Bachelor's degree in Law from a recognized institution.
- Admitted to practice law in India or any other jurisdiction.
- 0 to 2 years of relevant experience in Intellectual Property law.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in legal research and analysis.
- Multitasking abilities to handle multiple client requests and deadlines.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges in IP law.
