Details of the Job/Internship
Trumarx is hiring a Junior IPR Lawyer to join their office in Bangalore. The role involves drafting, prosecution, litigation support, contract drafting, research, and client coordination across multiple IP domains. The selected candidate will work closely with senior lawyers and handle matters related to trademarks, copyrights, designs, patents, agreements, and enforcement.
Role and Responsibilities
- Assist in filing and managing trademark, copyright, and design applications.
- Draft responses to examination reports, oppositions, rectifications, and renewals.
- Support hearings and official correspondence.
- Draft and vet agreements including NDAs, licensing, assignments, and technology transfer agreements.
- Prepare legal notices, replies, affidavits, and documentation.
- Assist in litigation drafting, case file preparation, evidence compilation, and brief creation.
- Conduct legal research and infringement assessments.
- Support IP audits, due diligence, and valuation activities.
- Ensure compliance with statutory deadlines.
- Coordinate with clients for updates and documentation.
- Work with internal teams for smooth workflow management.
Eligibility
- LL.B from a recognised university (IP specialization preferred).
- Understanding of trademark, copyright, design, and patent fundamentals.
- Strong drafting skills for agreements, notices, and litigation documents.
- Strong legal research and analytical ability.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Ability to multitask and work within timelines.
- Prior internship or experience in an IP firm is an advantage.
