Details of the Job/Internship
Shandilya Law Offices LLP is hiring a Junior Law Associate with experience of 2–5 years to join their office in New Delhi.
The firm handles matters relating to Writ Petitions, Civil and Criminal Litigation, Arbitration, Land Acquisition (Right to Fair Compensation), Insolvency and Bankruptcy, DRT matters, Recovery Suits, Consumer Affairs, Intellectual Property Rights, Family Law, Cyber Law, and allied areas. The firm appears regularly before the District Courts in Delhi/NCR, NCDRC, DRT, the Hon’ble High Court of Delhi, and the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India.
Working hours are from 10:30 AM to 6:30 PM, which may vary as per assignments. The applicant may take four casual leaves, with prior intimation to the office. Salary will be as per industry standards.
Role and Responsibilities
- Drafting legal pleadings and documents.
- Conducting legal research.
- Handling ground work related to cases.
- Appearing before courts and tribunals and presenting arguments.
- Managing and working on diverse types of matters.
- Working independently as well as collaboratively with the team.
Eligibility
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in litigation.
- Strong drafting skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Strong command over English and Hindi languages.
- Excellent legal research skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good understanding of ground work.
- Strong ability to present arguments in court.
- Ability to tackle and manage new types of cases.
- Punctuality and sincerity.
