OH LLP is hiring a Junior Lawyer – Corporate & Commercial with 0–2 years of experience to join its office in Dubai, UAE. The role involves supporting senior lawyers on a wide range of corporate and commercial matters, including company incorporations, structuring, restructuring, transactional support, and regulatory liaison, while offering hands-on exposure and structured learning in a collaborative law firm environment.
Role and Responsibilities
- Assisting in advising clients on corporate and commercial legal matters, including company incorporations, structuring, restructuring, and business expansion.
- Supporting the drafting, review, and organisation of corporate documents such as constitutional documents, shareholder resolutions, and commercial agreements.
- Conducting legal research, preparing summaries, and assisting with due diligence and risk assessments.
- Supporting senior lawyers in mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, and cross-border transactions.
- Liaising with regulators and licensing authorities under supervision, including CBUAE, SCA, DET, ADDED, SEDD, and UAE free zones such as ADGM and DIFC.
- Drafting agreements including sale and purchase agreements, agency agreements, franchising agreements, and employment agreements.
- Coordinating with internal teams, clients, and third-party service providers to ensure smooth execution of corporate matters.
- Maintaining accurate records and supporting effective management of client files.
- Assisting with company setup, licensing, renewals, and ongoing compliance matters.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law.
- Qualified lawyer with 0–2 years of experience in corporate or commercial law, including internships or training contracts.
- Strong academic background with interest in corporate, commercial, and regulatory law.
- Bilingual proficiency in Arabic and English preferred.
- Basic familiarity with UAE corporate and regulatory frameworks or a strong willingness to learn.
- Strong drafting, research, and organisational skills.
