Details of the Job/Internship

EBG Group is hiring a Junior Lawyer with around 2 years of experience to join its Hyderabad office. The role involves end-to-end legal drafting, vetting, negotiation, and execution of agreements relating to joint ventures, franchising, partnerships, vendor engagements, leasing, and statutory compliance, while supporting business expansion and legal risk management.

Role and Responsibilities

• Assist the Legal Head in drafting, vetting, negotiating, and finalising joint venture agreements, LOIs, MOUs, franchise and FOCO/FOFO agreements, vendor and service agreements, leasing or licensing agreements, employment contracts, NDAs, term sheets, and addendums.
• Negotiate contract terms with external parties, partners, and vendors, and ensure alignment with business models, risk parameters, and compliance guidelines.
• Support transaction-related legal work for new business ventures, acquisitions, franchising, and partnerships, including due diligence and risk assessment.
• Assist with stamping, notarisation, digital execution, record-keeping, and monitoring of contract renewals and expiries.
• Ensure compliance with company law, contract law, FDI norms, and sector-specific regulations.
• Coordinate with external law firms on disputes, litigation, and legal notices, and assist in drafting responses and arbitration notices.
• Provide legal support to internal teams, develop standard contract templates, and maintain a central database of agreements and legal documentation.

Eligibility

• LLB or LLM from a reputed law college.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in corporate legal work.
• Experience in diversified conglomerates, real estate, retail, franchising, or manufacturing sectors preferred.
• Experience working with founders or leadership teams preferred.

Salary/Stipend
