KK Law Associates is hiring a Junior Lawyer to join their office in Madurai. This is a full-time, on-site role. The Junior Lawyer will assist senior attorneys in handling legal documentation, conducting legal research, preparing case files, and attending court proceedings. The role also involves drafting legal documents, providing legal advice to clients, ensuring compliance with legal regulations, assisting in settlement negotiations, and performing other assigned duties.
Role and Responsibilities
- Assist senior attorneys with legal documentation.
- Conduct thorough legal research.
- Prepare and manage case files.
- Attend court proceedings.
- Draft legal documents and review related materials.
- Provide legal advice to clients.
- Ensure compliance with legal regulations.
- Assist in negotiating settlements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Eligibility
- Strong legal research and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in drafting and reviewing legal documentation.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and maintain confidentiality.
- Proficiency in legal software and tools, with a basic understanding of court procedures.
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent qualification.
- Candidates enrolled in or who have completed Bar Council certification are preferred.
- Familiarity with the regional legal framework and local judicial systems is an advantage.
