Details of the Job/Internship
Lincoln Legal Chambers is hiring a Junior Lawyer with experience of 0 to 3 years to join their office in Kolkata.
NOTE: ONLY Candidates who are currently enrolled with a State Bar Council can apply for this Role as it involves work as a Panel Counsel for the Chamber's clients. Candidates without a license to practice law in West Bengal without AIBE or with pending enrolment applications are requested not to apply, as their applications will not be considered.
Role and Responsibilities
- The Junior Lawyer will be responsible for representing Clients in Courts/legal forums, drafting/reviewing legal documents, conducting research, advising clients on legal matters, drafting legal documents, participating in court proceedings, and assisting seniors in all litigation and transactions.
Eligibility
- LLB or equivalent law degree from a recognized university in India.
- Qualified to practice law in India.
- Knowledge of Indian law and legal procedures.
- Ability to work on multiple assignments simultaneously and prioritize. workload effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Fluent in English, Bengali & Hindi.
